The Fort Worth Trombone Summit was recently held at TCU. Congratulations to KHS Band members Connor Burke, Jimmy Horan, Tyler Mange and Nick Sullivan. They competed in the High School Trombone Quartet division placing first amongst competitors from across the state. keep up the hard work!!

Congratulations to All Indian Band Students on a Great Year!!!
The four concert bands attended UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest and each band received straight first division ratings. This is an accomplishment that less than 10 out of 225 5A Schools have earned this year. This marks the 15th year that the Keller Indian Band has earned the coveted UIL Sweepstakes Award.
KHS Wind Ensemble Named
Outstanding Musical Group at Peak Music Festival
Congratulations to the Keller HS Wind Ensemble on being named Outstanding Musical Group at the Peak Music Festival last week. The group performed in the Eisemann Center of Performing Arts in Richardson on May 5th, 2011.
The Keller HS Wind Ensemble caps off a successful spring semester after making straight 1st Division Ratings at the Region 2 UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest and the Southcoast Music Festival in Corpus Christi, TX.
The 2011 Wind Ensemble’s program included Symphony for Band by Vincent Persichetti, Laboring Songs by Dan Welcher and The Melody Shop by Karl L. King.
