Colton Garrett - Falcone Semi-Finalist. Colton was named one of 5 semifinalists in the student division of the International Leonard Falcone Tuba & Euphonium Festival. This competition requires a submitted performance of a top level solo for tuba, then his recording was judged with the others that submitted.
The student division applicants category are for musicians under the age of 20 years old. What makes Colton's accomplishment so special is that he was the only high school student chosen at the semifinalist level.
The finals take place this summer in MI. Colton is a student of private teacher Richard Demy. More info.
